Jason P. Hayes Hayes is currently in pre-production for the 78th Annual Radio City Christmas Spectacular which opens in Nov '10 for which he is the Hair, Wig & Makeup Designer. Hayes just wrapped up the Season working as the Hair Dept. Head for the NBC TV show MERCY. Hayes spent 2009 shooting the film CEREMONY as Uma Thurmon's personal Hair Stylist and working for 30 ROCK and GOSSIP GIRL after closing SPRING AWAKENING on Broadway for which he was the Hair & Wig Supervisor & Associate Hair Designer. Hayes just completed the Makeup Design for BLITHE SPIRIT starring Angela Lansbury on Broadway for which Lansbury won yet another Tony award. He was also the Hair Designer for 13 THE MUSICAL which opened on Broadway in September 2009. In the fall of 07’ Hayes was in Johannesburg, South Africa for the Opening of HAIRSPRAY in South Africa which his company designed the wigs. He was up for consideration for nomination for the 2005 Oscar for Makeup & Hair for his Wig & Trans makeup designs for Felicity Huffman in TRANSAMERICA. Hayes was the Key Hair Stylist for the Fab 5 on Season III of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Hayes has just wrapped up shooting his second project with Felicity Huffman this past June on the film, Phoebe in Wonderland. Hayes has been volunteering with the Emmy Nominated PBS series, In The Life as Key Hair & Makeup Artist for the last 5 years. Other films on his resume include Party Monster, The Cake Eaters, CAMP, Factory Girl, Garden State, P.S., Infamous, Transamerica, Multiple Sarcasms, The Hottest State, The Visitor, StarBooty, Fur, SherryBaby, Sweet Flame, Multiple Sarcasms, The Ten & The Savages.
